On their way upstairs, Kaylee didn't even bother to request the key for their usual room. They were kind of in a hurry.

It is to be hoped for the sake of their current neighbors, if they had any, that the walls were soundproofed.

The show's over now, though, and Kaylee's feeling pretty deliciously lazy.

He shifts toward her, sliding an arm around her shoulders, tugging the blanket up to cover them.

Their bodies fit together, here, forming a little cocoon of warmth and comfort.

She leans forward just a little -- barely enough to kiss his forehead.

"Sleep easy, Simon." Whispered. "We're not going nowhere."

His eyes drift closed.

"Love you." Drowsy; already well on the way to asleep. "Xin gan."

"Love you too, handsome."

He drops off before she does; she's watching him through half-lidded eyes, and telling herself that she can worry about him tomorrow.
